The East Tennessee Termite & Pest Control Association, Inc. was incorporated on December 29, 1981, and is the oldest pest control association in the state of Tennessee. The founding directors of the association were David Clark, John Campbell, and Ralph Brooks. In January 2000, the name of the association was changed to East Tennessee Pest Control Association, also known as ETPCA.

We are a non-profit organization serving the pest control industry in Knoxville, TN, and surrounding areas. ETPCA exists to positively impact the businesses and livelihoods of those in the pest management community each and every day.

COMMITTEES

The beating heart of the ETPCA is its members. Through our system of committees, ETPCA members help guide the organization through any necessary task or event. These dedicated members volunteer their time to better not only the organization, but the pest management industry as a whole. If you are interested in joining a committee contact us today!

  Education Committee

Each year pest management technicians and owners gather for the Great Smoky Mountain Conference for classes and continuing education.  Our Education Committee plans the classes and sessions for that event.

Working in partnership with the Board of Directors, the Education Committee selects the speakers and topics for the annual meeting. Thanks to this committee, attendees attend classes featuring topics and speakers that are relevant, interesting and educational.

To ensure that the topics are timely and current, a diverse group of professionals from all corners of the pest management industry make up this committee. If you enjoy the classes at the Smoky Mountain Conference and want to help others have the same great experience, check below to join the Education Committee.

     Membership Committee

ETPCA’s members are the heart of our organization!  And, we are always seeking to add new members to our association.

The Membership Committee is responsible for recruiting new members to our organization and reviewing all incoming membership applications.  Working closely with the ETPCA Secretary/Treasurer, the Committee receives, reviews and investigates all membership applications and presents those applicants to the Board of Directors for approval. If you love being a member and want to share your experience with others, this is the place for you.
